Being a leader in my Youth group this verse comes alive. I started with just a few things and now I do sound and slides, and my youth paster has just asked me to coach our Bible quiz team. If you think it is not true just try it God will bless you.

I guess I am at a place in my walk where finding love for those that hurt me is very hard to muster up. I'm not angry it's more of a feeling of emptiness...where I've given all I have to give. At times I find that even though I want to remain a Christian.....that this walk is the hardest one I've ever been on. Is it just me or am I the only one who feels like this??????? Or better yet doesn't feel like they fit anywhere????? Like a square peg in a round hole.

tjis scripture was exactly what i needed to hear today. how amazing it is that God places the exact things you need at the exact time that you need them as long as we are quiet and patiently wait. Today i head to court to face the man who did many horrible things to myself, but more than that to my children. I have such mixed emotions about this. I want to see done to him what i feel is the right punishment, but i also want to be able to give it to the Lord and let him have it all. This morning I had no intentions of opening my computer, but it came to me to not only open it but to type in the bible.com and I am so ever grateful that I did. Thank you all so much for sharing God's word and doing his works so that He is proclaimed The Almighty throughout the world.

Like all of God's word, this passage is truly amazing, but becareful not to take it to mean things it does not. God loves us always and forever, from befor we are conceived to after our earthly bodies return to dust. It does NOT mean, that we are not heald accountable for our actions. I have heard this verse quoted to me far too many times by someone living a lifestyle of sin...claiming that the prayer they prayed when they were 12 covers them from all things.

Hello to all, I'm not here to comment on anything but I do have a question that I hope someone can help me with so that maybe I can be lead in the right direction. I truley wish to be saved and I have gone to church and read the bible and I believe that Jesus is the son of God and that he died on the cross for our sins and that he is also risen.I guess my question is.....,why don't I feel it?........, knowing the things that I know, it should come easy to do the right things....., so why can't I get my heart to follow my mind...., I hear about all the happiness that people get and the rush of love and fullfillment that flows from the hearts of saved people...,so whats wrong with me. Do those fellings not come to everyone or am I doing something wrong...., yes I know that we sin daily and we have to ask for forgivness everyday, but when am I going to stop doing some of the same things......... I NEED HELP!! WILL SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHERE TO TURN AND WHAT TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, I just read your post and my heart has gone out to you. Let me give you some thought and some scriptures. That is the trick of the devil trying to keep you from happiness.My pastor gave a sermon the other day on 4 "D's" doubt,discouragement,defeat,destruction. That is what the devil is. Don't let the devil miss direct your focuse, which is serving Jesus. He will play with your mind and make you doubt, just come right back at the devil and rebuke him in THE NAME OF JESUS" tell the old devil you BELONG to Jesus and he can't do any thing about it.Stand on that. each time he enters your mind. PLEA THE BLOOD OF JESUS over yourself. The devil runs when you mention the Name of Jesus, can't stand the name of Jesus. Just mention His name.Jesus" over and over again. When you say the sinners prayer, mean it from your heart.You have Jesus, because you have ask Him to forgive you of your sins and have ask Him in your heart. Every time before I pray I try to remember to always ask forgivness for any thing God needs to show me.I say the sinners prayer every chance I get. Also say the Lord's Prayer,(Our Father which art in Heaven)I'm sure you know that, if not look it up, it is in Matthew, when you can't think of any thing else to pray. God Loves you and wants you to be happy,And you can be happy. Doesn't mean that things will always be perfect for us,and we will find ourselves sad, But just get right back up, in the name of JESUS! If you don't have a good bible based church, that would be a great idea to get in one. Or if you are in one and don't feel the Holy Spirit in the service, get out of that church and find another. They are out there. Sometimes we have to look and pray for guidance and direction.Just listen to Jesus, He will speak in your gut, and you will know it is Him. I am from Oklaoma City, are you any where close to that? Paul,"in the bible"says: "Think yourself happy. regardless of what state of mind you are in", also to be content. I want to give you Psalms 51. Read that over and over again and put your name in the places that it fits, until you can feel peace of God. Also read Psalms 91 the same way. Living by faith sometimes is hard to understand, but God says I am Who I am. I am the beginning and the End. Also read Romans 10:9-2 I read Psalms 51 and put my name or my children's name a lot, one of my favorite Psalms is 91. Love in Christ, please let me know and I'll stay in touch with you. Linda

Thank you Linda for your words of encouragement,I will take your advice and also use the scriptures that you have given me.I guess like everyone else, I'm going through some rough times and reaching out to God is the best way to deal with anything and felling his presence has been my number one priority lately but it should have been number one the entire time that I accepted him in my life. I live in Fayetteville,NC and I do attend church but not like I should because of the way I've been feeling, but with your words I will start my search for one that makes me feel the Holy Spirit, once again thank you for your response, I have checked back here frequently to see if I had gotten a reply and was starting to get a sense that no one cared, but the devil is a liar and in the name of Jesus I will defeat him. I'll definitly keep you posted on my progress. Once again thank you and God bless you.

hello, i just wanted to say WHAT A BLESSING!! reading this has been for me today. I have so been in a place where i felt God did not even know my name let alone have time for me..I was in one of these desert times when i cried out to God and ask just to set in his lap for a while, i was broken and felt so alone and empty i cried for him just to hold me..... he did i felt such a peace flood over me a love so strong it is the greatest. Jesus is the greatest gift we could have ever recevied.

Please help. I have been saved 12 years. But 5 years ago i began to suffer from depression. I always wondered if God had to do with it. My life changed completely. I have been attacked by fear constantly. But kept holding on to God, yes i am born again but most times i find myself having no true happiness or joy. I work which is a result encouraging my life to continue which i thank God for. I struggle lots with fear and can say have been in bondage for long. Once i used to be happy n jolly, self driven but today is deferent. I have issues with people i never had before and constant troubled mind. I read God's word everyday but i struggle much as a result i always end up feeling sad and defeated. What shall i do? I have told God that i will be committing my money to help people the hungry praying that some day i will be set free. . .

I had forsaken God. I lost my mother four and a half years ago and have been struggling with her not being here every day. Through one of my co-workers, I have accepted the Lord into my life again. She said it was the only way to handle all the pain I am feeling - just let him help me. I am so grateful to her for leading me back to the Lord. I am taking one step at a time and I know sometimes I may falter, but I have faith once again.

Hey folks we are all going through tough times I think its cause the times we live in. the devil know his time is short. so he is working overtime. We must remain strong in the spirit of God for it is his HOLY SPIRIT!!! that gives us strengh!! PRAY HARD !!! And seek the HOLY SPIRIT!!! I Curse the devil back to hell where he came from!! ANd I plead the blood of Jesus over Us all who are having difficult times. Praise God for all he is doing and all he is going to do!!!!!!!!!!!
