I can only imagine how much pain and suffering you are going through. But one thing you say and that makes all the sense in the world is that God is on your side and He knows and will see you through this too. God does not allow us to suffer for no reason. The devil is the one that brings pain into this world. However, God is able to prove to you once again that He is in charge and He will see you through this. Continue to trust in HIM and lay your burdens on HIM for HE will see you through. You will come out a stronger person and humbled by God's grace and mercy and most importantly HIS LOVE. I pray that you will find the strength to go through this and that your husband may find some relief after the MRI. You are now to open your arms and receive God's blessings..yes it sounds crazy but watch and see God at work...we do not always understand his ways,but you will use this as a growth opportunity in your search for God.

I find myself in the life of Job.
My husband herniated a disc several years ago and just the other day it finally went completely out. He is not able to work and we don't have any dissability insurance. His health insurance does not want to pay for an MRI and he is in excruciating pain. His right leg is completely numb and he has extreme pain in his private area. His primary Dr is sending him for the MRI anyway, which I am glad for, but I have no idea how we are going to pay our bills. My mom is living with us, I can't afford to send my son to daycare, but have to because she is not able to care for him. I've never been in this kind of situation. We have always been the ones helping everybody else out. I don't understand why God is allowing us to go through this time of difficulty, but I am thankful that I have HIM on my side. Please be in prayer for us and for my husband's back. Pray that God would intercede and heal him and that when HE does, that my husband will be able to use this as a positive testimony for Christ! Also, please be in prayer for our finances. We have to find some way to pay our mortgage and other bills since we also have my son and mom to feed and care for.
