Discuss Bible Scripture > i need o know what this scripture means and how it pertains to life
First, note: everyone gets a different revelation when reading the word of God, so I will do my best to give mine.
2. Sometimes we can think, as humans, what we are doing is the right thing, but God always looks at our heart. Just because we may give to the poor doesn't mean that we are doing it out of love.
3. When we do things as though we are doing it for God, we do it with a pure heart. I clean my church, but I do it as though I am cleaning heaven, even though I can live without what I find in there.
4. People ask the question, "If God is love , why does He allow babies to be murdered?" God created us all. When we grow up, the majority of the time we stray away from our original mission. heaven will be filled, even if it's with babies and small children. Sometimes angels are sent here as children, maybe just to bring a family closer or to make someone come to their senses about their sin. We have to realize that we will never figure God out.
5. No matter how good we think we are, if we have a proud heart, we are an abomination to God and we will be punished for that. Jesus was humble and we have to be the same way.
6. By the mercy of God and His word, we don't have to sin anymore, we are clean from it. And when we get to the point of deep reverence and respect for God, we won't do the things that we were doing before salvation. Example: If you had sex before marriage, once salvation takes place, we shouldn't do those things anymore.
7. People will hate us and talk about us, no matter what. But when we live all that we know how, doing what the bible says, praying, keeping ourselves out of unnecessary mess, and staying humble, our enemies can't touch us. All they will be able to do is talk.
