The Spirit Cafe

Ok so I go to West Phoenix Baptist Church in Arizona. And us youth get really interested when people bring up things like the Quiji board and their stories or just stories of them seeing Ghosts or Evil beings. Ok but my question is? Does it say anything in the bible that demons surround us and haunt peoples house and stuff like that?! Because a lady from my church, about 33 or so, told us that she's seen many ghosts in her house. They'll slam things shut or hell curse words or even one time choke her. But when all these things happen she yells something from the bible and they seem to disappear. I know it sounds crazy but there are more than just her who have told us stories like that before...

I believe that it is possible to see the deamon if not in their natural state, then in a state in which they take the form of a living bieng. Remember when Jesus cast the demons out of the man and they went into the swine which ran off the cliff and killed themselfs. Well they physically saw the demons just in a living bieng.

What the Lord has been pressing on my heart lately and this will help with the authority He gives us is to make sure your church believes that Jesus was God in the flesh...look at Phil2:6 & 7.

I'm glad you brought up such interesting comment regarding gosts, demons, etc... Remember the word of GOD declares that we do not wrestle/fight again blood and flesh, but against principalities of the darkness Ephesians 6:12. the bible declares that we have authorities over any forces (visible or invisible) in the Name of Jesus-Christ.
The bible declares in Ps91 that 1000 may fall at your side, 10000 at the other, but as surely as you stand on the word of God (that is Jesus himself by the way Rev 13: 11 to 16) you shall fear no evil as we live in this world, as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death Ps 23.
There are Demons, they sure are as Ugly-minded as evil, they sure are cursed, and they sure are out there to destroy and to kill. It's all our responsibility, to fight them through prayer and fasting, to intercede for one another in the body of christ.
Being born and raised in West-africa, knowing what I know, remembering what I've seen, what I have lived (my surroundings), I will be more than willing to prove you from the word of God and from documented stories the existence of Evil spirit a.k.a demons. But thank GOD for Jesus who died, purchased our salvation, gave us authorities over any wicked forces seen or unseen out there. It's not by might or by power, it's by the word of GOD, by building a personnal relationship with him, but feeding your spirit with the word of GOD, by his Grace and Mercy, By the Holy-Spirit, by the blood of Jesus, by the name "Jesus" (at the sound of which every knew will bow down, and every tongue will confess and surrender to him ) Roman 14 :11.

Peace be unto you! Some times we get our focus off Jesus
and that opens us up to the things of this world. Remember, God allows us to be tested to see how we will

search the scriptures. sometimes asking other well meaning christians for advise is not the best thing to do. But go to the LORD in prayer and He will by the Holy Ghost, reveal all things to you concerning His will and purpose for your life. Demons are real evil is
real, Jesus said, but be of good cheer, I have over come the world. We are called to be overcomers, and since He Dwells in us, when we accept Him as our personal savior. We too overcomers in all things.
