My best guy friend moved to Japan for a year last July. During the first several months he was there, we talked all the time. We talked on the phone, on facebook, via email...Needless to say we talked to eachother a ton. We shared what was going on in our different schools, we talked about our problems with friends and our families...We almost never put the phone down. I'm so lucky we both can get long distanse calls! Anyway, he came back for Christmas, but once he left again in January, I literally did not hear a single word from him. I asked him if he was mad, or upset with me for some reason, but he said he'd just been to busy to talk. I was pacified and didnt complain anymore until recently when i heard that he was talking nearly every day to one of our mutual friends. He told her things he didn't tell me. such as the fact that he's STAYING IN JAPAN A WHOLE-NOTHER YEAR!!! Why wouldn't he tell me this? Someone please help me before my heart breaks...

He probably didn't want to hurt your feelings. Men do strange things. If he doesn't want to talk anymore, thats ok too. We all grow as people and sometimes our relationships just drift apart. Just remember to have faith and love God. Humans are not perfect, but his love in you is! I know this doesn't help the ache in your heart now, but it will.
