well I have been practicing fornication for sometime now with someone that I truly cared for. However we have broken. I feel like this is my second chance to start allover again and not practice pre-marital sex till I am married to the one God has created for me. What do you think?

i think your decision is very great!the content of it is of a person who did something just to be with someone that u desire but who u know wasn't given to u from God.i can speak a lot to that but i believe that u know your mate will be a blessing from God to u if he's of God he'll continue his virginity or celibacy also 1 Corinthians 7:36 is an extremely good guide and instruction for your life. naturally we are arroused sexually but that is a natural that u can give to God ask Him to take that desire from u each time and tell Him that u are preserved to Him until He bless u with the man that He wants u to marry. meditate on 1Corinthians 7:34-36. I hope your desire is sincere and i want u to always remember God through Christ is your first love anything that u don't want to have in your fleash He will remove it according to your faith. I desire that u have a sincere and ever bonding relationship with the Kingdom of Heaven and its host.in the book of Ruth we learn that she too gave up all even her desire for sex just to be with Naomi if this is not true she could have followed her sister in law and went back to her country but she choose to stay with her mother in law Naomi and God blessed her sincere heart with a good man to whom our savior was born of generations later. i have no problem with sharing God word of the Bible with u and motivating u in his word.

The only thing is that I was quite convinced that this person was my God chosen husband, and now that things did not work, I have lost hope in finding my Mr Right.I know I should not be thinking in such a negative way, but truth of the matter is I don't think I will be able to tell My God sent husband apart from the rest; as i I truly believed my ex was the one.

I believe that your decision to sustain from having sex until you're married is a wonderful thing. As of right now i'm doing the same thing. I had started back in 2008 but slipped and went back to having sex but thats okay long as I REPENTED and started over was what the lord wanted from me. So I did, I believe now since i'm on a Straight Path with God, nothing will make me go back to doing those things anymore. I pray daily that the Lord give me the strenght to continue to sustain myself for my husband. I've never been married though close I never went all the way. The guy that I'm dating now he understands that I'm not having sex before Marriage and he's with me, He loves me and I love him. He wants nothing but the best for us so he says he's willing to wait. I truly don't believe that he's messing around on me we've been together for the past 7 or 8 months and were happy, he tells me there is nothing or noone that he will let come between us or to make him cheat on me. We're getting to kniw one another on another level then just a sexual one. Before when I started the Celebicy practice I started because I wanted a man to want me for my mind first, then my body and while I was dating different guys I told them straight up" I'm Celebit and i'm sustaining from having Sex until marriage alot of them told the truth that they were not going to be able to deal, and others played around with me with false hope. In the end I found out what alot of guys are out here for and it's just for your body. So if you truly want to find someone that really loves you for you and not your body first then hold out and wait until God sends you someone who feels the same way about it that you do. Josie, Thank you so much, your testimony really helps. I believe am stuck on my ex, My prayer is for us to get back together, cause I really feel something quite strong and different for him.LIke I said, I truly in my heart know that he is the one for me. I know if we were to get back together, and I were to tell him that I have chosen this path, he would be fine with it because he is not into sex anyway, and he was willing to do anything to make me happy (when we were together).
To be honest, I am happy we broke up, in a way, because, it has brought me closer to God, and my relationship with Him (Our Heavenly Father) is getting stronger and stronger.
I have been asking God to help me to get over him and our relationship, so that I would be ready for the man that HE has ordained for me but it seems as like the more I pray about it, the harder it gets for me to let go. I am all confused (this whole thing has been going for almost a year, and i still don't know hw to go about it...isn't it a shame? )
Anyway, I plan on sticking to my celibacy, because at the end of the day, God is the only person, that is always going to have our back and never let us down.
