Just out of interest... God speaks to man in many different ways, and I myself have felt that God have given me direction through various different gestures or means-but how do we know for sure when God is talking to us?What experiences have you had?

1 Kings 19 the man of God that is the prophet Elijah feared for his life from the threat of Jezebel who threatern to kill although God was on his side Elijah did his fearful running from Jezebel but when God stepped in Elijah was in a cave hidding and at the door of the cave is where God showed up "a still small voice" (vv 12-13) God spoke to Elijah through "after the ire a small voice" when God spoke to moses in Exodus3:2-4("God called unto him out ofthe midst of the bush") we do not learn from the Bible that God speak or spoke with a loud voice but there is in the Bible an instance of the people hearing his voice and to them it sounded of thunder but Eodus 19:9-16 clears that up because thunder sounds and trumpet sounds are present when God is present Matt.3:17; Mark 17:5 "while yet ha spake, a bright cloud overshadowed them:and behold a voice out of the cloud,..."God is not a loud and boosterish voice He speaks to us today just as He did in the Bible He speaks to your heart. a small voice is one that will attract your attention and impress upon u in a way that will arouse your concern and a loud voice is one that intends to disturb u. God is a humble God and He will always speak to u in a small still voice and He will speak to your heart and u can dream an may receive Him speaking to u in your dream in a small voice.
